Call for Artists:
Metaphysical Art Exhibition Spring 2025

The Exhibition will be on:
Friday, March 21st, 2pm to 7pm
Saturday, March 22nd, 10am to 7pm
Sunday, March 23rd, 12pm to 5pm

Message Des Moines New Age Shop to request an application, There is a $25, non-refundable entry hanging fee for the show. Once your application is received & the fee paid you'll be added to the artist list & event page.

***make sure to note your name, business name, email , and how many pieces you are entering***
*First 10  artists, first come first serve

-ART-
Each Artist can enter up to 5 pieces. All art will need to be show-ready. No pieces bigger then 16x24 please.
ALL work must be framed and wired to hang if not a 3D piece. Paintings don't need to be framed as long as the sides of the exposed canvas is painted but must be wired to hang.

We will email you art hang tags, please fill them out(2 per piece,1 for back & 1 for front, this is for security) and have them securely attached to your pieces when you bring them for display.

You will also receive an email publicity packet that includes: show Poster & flyer, personal show invites for your clients(your list & new fans that you meet), show social media ad, links to the event on the website and on social media. As well as your hang tags.

SALES-
Art can be sold or just displayed. Artshow Coordinator Symone will handle any sales & security if the artist is unavailable at the time of sale. There's no commission taken from the sale of artwork unless the sale is by credit card/digital pay-then it is 10% of the sales price. 

*Any Checks for artwork will be made out to name of artist on the hang tag, so please make sure its legible. 

SHOW PROMOTION-
If you're an artist taking part in this show, you need to promote the show through your personal and artist's social pages. Invite friends, family, co-workers, etc.
Share the event page on all your social media outlets, blogs, mailing lists, web sites, astral projections, smoke signals, spirit realm... whatever the means, get the word out.

This is a group show, our show and a collective effort. Lets support one another and everyone's efforts, get the word out and get people in the door. The more people you tell, the better the show!

ART SET UP-
Set up hours will be :

Thursday night 5pm to 8pm,

Friday 10am to 12pm.  

We ask that All Artists be set up by 12pm on Friday March 21st,

NO late Set Up.

ART PICK UP-
Please take your art with you at the end of the show. No one is responsible for the safe return of artwork but the artist.  If you need to designate a person to pick up your artwork, please do so in your application.

Want to dress up? Please do. Cos-play is welcome!
